How we verify a fit

One rule: we list a fit only when the maker says so in writing, and we show you where.

Where the data comes from

We read each maker's own product pages, fit lists, fit finders and FAQs. As of Oct 21, 2026, that covers 89 holsters from 12 makers for the Glock 19, 19X and 45. Every row shows the maker's wording, a link to the page and the date we checked it.

Three answers, never two

Fits means the maker lists your exact gun and light. Won't fit means the maker says so in writing. Anything else is not in our data: the maker hasn't said, or we haven't found where it does. We never turn silence into a "won't fit," and we never assume a fit from a similar gun or a similar light.

Our coverage is partial

We cover a subset of each maker's line. If a holster isn't here, check the maker's site before you rule it out. Prices are the lowest the maker showed for that holster on the day we checked; light-bearing versions often cost a few dollars more.

What we don't count

Product titles that disagree with the fit list on the same page. Lights described only as a "series" or "family." A bare "X300" when SureFire's A and B versions use different mounts. Generations we can't confirm exist. When a maker's own pages contradict each other, we mark the claim unresolved and say why.

What we left out, for now

Some makers' listings didn't survive our checks: product titles that disagreed with the fit list, or configurators that don't show fit on the page. We hold those back until we can verify them, rather than publish guesses.

Money

We may earn a commission when you buy through links on this site. Makers can't pay to be listed, ranked or left out, and a commission never changes a verdict.

Something wrong?

Makers change listings. If you see a fit we got wrong, use the report form on any page and tell us what you found. We re-check it against the maker's page before changing anything.
